The Wylie tennis team had one goal going into this season – win back the state championship. Mission accomplished. The tennis team cruised through the regular season with only three losses. The Bulldogs won the District, Area and Regional championships to earn a trip to state, where Wylie beat Boerne and Kaufmann to claim the state’s top spot. Wylie finished as runnerup last year, breaking a long streak of state championships. Well, now the trophy is back at Wylie where it belongs. Congratulations to Wylie’s State Champion Tennis Team.
