Students from Wylie’s Student2Student and Junior S2S programs attended the Military Child Education Coalition National Training Seminar in Washington D.C. from July 22-26.
The Student2Student program is supported by the military and helps highly-mobile students feel welcome at their new school. The National Training Seminar is a wonderful opportunity for Wylie students to collaborate with schools across the nation and around the world on how to make their program better.
Wylie students attended many workshops, distinguished lectures, and were able to network with other students their age. Wylie High School was also recognized as a finalist for the 2019 Outstanding S2S Program.
Students are very excited for the new school year!
Wylie’s S2S program would like to thank its sponsors who made it possible for students to attend NTS this year. A big thanks to Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation, Abilene Teacher’s Federal Credit Union, Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 6873 and Northrop Grumman for their generous donations!
