Wylie Junior High students presented the one-act play Any Body For Tea? by C.B. Gilford on Thursday, Feb. 14 in the Wylie Performing Arts Center.
The play was the humorous story of a group of spinster ladies who go to extreme lengths to get the attention of a young homicide detective.
Ryan Blake, an 8th-grader, played the role of the detective, who of course, solves the mystery. Other members of the cast were 8th-graders Logan Huffington, Anna White, Kara Kirkland, Hannah Sloan, Mia Siler and Adalee Bradford and 7th-graders Abel Hicks and Kaelyn Doty.
Jazz Jones, an 8th-grader, was the stage manager. Other members of the crew were 8th-graders Ethan Carnes, Faith Cary, Amira Quick, Tate Smart and Daniel Tuegel and 7th-graders Allie Allen, Avery Bojanowski, Zoey Karr and Mairen Smith.
