The Pup Academy opened its doors on Thursday, August 3 for the first time to welcome the littlest of Wylie Bulldogs. The daycare facility for employees is a new benefit of working for the district. Director Jenny Amonett, said she is honored to be a part of such a beneficial program for the employees and their families, especially the children who will be in her staff’s care.
“So many staff and children are going to be blessed by this wonderful program, and my passion is providing caring childcare to our little ones.”
The Pup Academy provides care for children 6 weeks old to 2 years old. Amonett says 42 children, counting the 3-yearolds, are registered, but that number is going to change with new enrollments.
