The Wylie Theater Department performed its fall musical Footloose in October.
The students opened with an abbreviated performance in front of more than 200 Wylie supporters at the annual We Are Wylie dinner. Then a week later, students gave three performances of Footloose in its entirety at McMurry’s Radford Auditorium.

Cast and Crew:
Jose Pacheco played the lead role of Ren McCormack, and Maddie Lowry played his girlfriend Ariel Moore. Others featured in the show included: Megan Scevers, Alissa Lackey, Maddie Barnett, Jon Baker, Aaron Harlow, August Zett, Bethany Witemeyer, Wade Byington, Adam Edwards, Mattie Jeter, Sierra Sutton, Cooper Barnett, Jimmy Gammon, Jared Stamey, Corban Gililland, Brian Fakhoury, Eric Evans, Maddie Murgia, Mattie Ake and Abby French. The Choir included McKynzie Gilmore, Maddie Vigil-Whitted, Katie Catoe, Rachael Draper, Ashley Burns and Becca Smith.
Dancers included: Claire Kroeger, Peyton Bourland, Katie Green, Shelby Rubino, Zoe McCurley, Claire Siewert, Kiersten Cooper, Abbi Baker, Claire Preston, Sophie Marcelain, Sydney Grant, Macy Goodenough, Julia Lovelace, Ireland Dimock and Casey Jeter.
The Ensemble included Carley Jewell, August Zett, Alexis Gomez, Olivia McCain, Kathlyn Messer, Kristen Kilpatrick, Kaleigh Wilson and Missy Huffines.
Stage manager was Jaime Ringuette; light board operator was Ariel Bondoc and sound operator was Lexi Strain. The sets were designed by students from Wylie’s technical theater classes. Footloose was directed by Christopher Shoemake. Musical director was Robin Davis. Choreography was by Teri Wilkerson with some help from Shelby Rubino and Katie Green.
