Most Impactful Activity, Class or Teacher
Dr. Hood and her CNA class taught me many core lessons I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

Most Cherished High School Memory
My favorite high school memory was attending the HOSA State Leadership Conference my junior year with former members from the class of 2025 at Kalahari Resort!

Overcoming Challenge & The Lessons Learned
A challenge I overcame during high school was burnout and stress. It finally caught up to me during a round of CNA clinicals one day. I learned to take things one step at a time, be satisfied with what I can do, and to not take my health for granted.

Advice on Succeeding in High School
Take things at your own pace. Don’t rush through life and get tangled over trivial matters. One test grade does not dictate your intelligence, and one rocky relationship does not define your capability to love. Things happen when they happen, and I have more than enough faith that everyone is destined for something great in their lives.

My Inspiration
My biggest inspirations are my friends, family, and my dream of traveling the world one day.

Proudest Accomplishment
I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve grown from a freshman new to the Wylie district who didn’t know anyone, to someone surrounded by so much love and support. As for academic achievements, I placed 5th for Medical Arts at the HOSA Spring Leadership Conference and advanced to regionals for UIL Spelling this year.

Who Knew?
I still get excited when I see cute plushies. I have a huge stuffed animal collection that I’ve grown up with that I don’t have the heart to give away. They will be coming to college with me and keeping me company.

Thank You So Much
I would like to thank my family, friends, and teachers for always supporting me. My first friends I ever made when coming to Wylie are some of the loveliest people I’ve ever gotten the honor to meet. Thank you to Dr. Hood for always doing last minute recommendation letters for me, and thank you to Mrs. Kirby for giving me a reality check every time we did grammar quizzes.
