Most Cherished High School Memory
Singing “It is Well” after every football game. It always reminded me that no matter the outcome of the previous week God has given us a new one with new opportunities and obstacles to overcome. This is what I’m going to miss the most from Wylie.
Overcoming Challenge & Lessons Learned
Probably the biggest challenge I had to persevere through was the loss of one of my close friends Kyle Rush. This was extremely tough on me and my friends and still is today. Through this I’ve had to learn how to deal with loss as well as help the people around me who are dealing with it also. This still remains a challenge today just thinking about the great times we have and then the ones that got cut short.
Gratitude Check
I just want to thank the amazing Wylie community for pouring into me over the last 12 years and helping mold me into the person I am today. Each and every peer, teacher, and administrator has made a lasting impact on my personal life and helping plant the seeds to start my life outside of high school. I also want to thank my amazing parents. They have been with me every step in life and are always there when I need somebody to lean on. They truly have made me into the man I am, and I could not have achieved anything without them. Also, to my brother who gives me a reason to strive to be a role model and be someone he can look up to. Just thank you to all who constantly poured into me throughout grade school.

Who Knew?
I am actually a pretty good singer. I don’t sing often but I have grown up in the Church of Christ and have been singing for forever. Most people have never heard me sing (besides one pep rally) and it surprises people that I can actually carry a tune.
Advice for Underclassmen
Just have fun. High school flies by so live in the moment and enjoy every aspect of life during it because you only get to live it once!
My Inspiration
My parents are some of my biggest inspirations. They lead me in how to be successful and have helped me get to where I am today through their encouragement and advice. They truly have helped me get through the ups and downs and I look up to them in every aspect of my life.
A Proud Moment
I’m extremely proud of earning my football scholarship. I have put years of hard work into it, and it has paid off. I am just so blessed to have the support around me to be able to accomplish it. It just makes me excited for the future seeing the work I have put into it finally come into fruition.
