School Activity, Class or Teacher Impact

My Instructional Practices class in my junior year of high school impacted me significantly. It was taught by Mrs. Jansa, but we went to a different campus four times a week to observe another teacher. I got to observe and help Mrs. Anderson at the West Elementary. She taught me so much about teaching, and I will never forget the impact that class made on my future.

Most Cherished High School Memory

Senior Sunrise is my most cherished memory of high school. I loved getting to be with all my friends to celebrate the start of our last year of high school. I made so many great memories that day and I feel like we got closer as a class.

Overcoming Challenge & Lessons Learned

A time I overcame a challenge was when I took my first AP class junior year. It was the hardest class I’ve taken, and I had to learn to adjust to not having the best grades. I still made good grades, but they weren’t what I was used to. I learned that it is okay to not make the best grades as long as you work hard.

Advice for Underclassmen

Hangout with your close friends. You are all going to go to different colleges and not see each other very often. Make tons of memories!

My Inspiration

My parents give me inspiration. They both work very hard, and they have taught me how to be a good person. I look up to them in so many ways. They have truly made me the person I am today.

A Proud Moment

I am most proud of making all As in high school. It has always been a goal of mine, and I am proud to say that I’ve met that goal.

Who Knew?

I am a loud and outgoing person once you get to know me.
