Destination Imagination– Come and join us to help raise awareness of Mental Health in people today. Come to Pancakes for Mental Health America on January 19th from 4:30pm to 7:00pm at Wylie High School. There will be all you can eat pancakes and guest speakers to discuss aspects of mental health!
The last day to request a schedule change for the 2nd semester is Tuesday, January15th.
Congratulations to sophomore McKinley Alvarado for winning the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Essay contest. McKinley will represent Wylie HS at the leadership conference in June at University of Texas Arlington.

Auditions for JV One Act Play are today from 4-6 in the PAC. Please stop by Ms. Rosbrugh’s room (501) for an audition packet.
The Wylie Winter Formal will be “Dance by the Light of the Moon” on February 16th, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at 201 Mesquite. $75/couple, $45 single. Tickets sold at the YMCA-State Street, Feb. 11-15, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Italy and Greece – Interested in traveling the world? Come with us to Italy and Greece in June of 2020! We will visit Rome and Athens as well as other cities and countryside of both countries for 10 days. This is the trip of a lifetime and is open to all Wylie students and their families. Grab a flier from Mrs. Taylor or Mr. Shoemake and come to our informational meeting on Tuesday, January 15th, at 5:30 p.m. in room 311. See you there!
Only Juniors and Seniors are allowed 2 College Days a year . Remember, you must bring back a letter on letterhead from the college stating your name and date you were there.
