October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s not unusual for Wylie Bulldogs across the district to turn-up the pink. However, this year, they purchased a record number of Pink Out shirts from Wylie High’s Purple Dog Company (PDC).
A check was presented to the American Cancer Society at the Pink Out pep rally on Oct. 17.
“It is the largest donation made by PDC in our history – $3500! Over 575 shirts were sorted and processed in only one class period by my PDC members,” said PDC teacher Megan Breaux. “It was wild!”
