School Activity, Class or Teacher Impact

The Wylie Varsity Belles drill team has impacted who I am today in many ways. It taught me countless lessons, and it has built me into the person I am now. I was a lieutenant for my senior year, and being able to lead a program I care so much about was the biggest blessing. The girls on the team are some of the greatest people I know, and they inspired me every day to become a better person. Dancing in belles brought me so much joy, and all the lessons I have learned will stay with me forever.

My Inspiration

The people I surround myself with inspire me to be the best version of myself. By seeing the positive aspects of others, I am able to channel them into my own life.

Advice to Underclassmen

Try new things, even if it’s not what everyone else is doing. The important people in your life just want to see you happy and doing what you love.

Most Cherished High School Memory

I don’t have a specific favorite memory, but I always loved pep rallies. I enjoyed performing at them, but I also just liked having a time where the whole school could have fun together.

Overcoming Challenge & Lesson Learned

My freshman year, I struggled with the transition into high school and finding a balance between school and the things I enjoyed. I had to learn how to think positively and how to make the most of that time in my life.

A Proud Moment

I am proud that I made Belles’s lieutenant my senior year. It took a lot of hard work, but I am happy I got to be a leader on a team that means so much to me.

Who Knew?

My family has moved a lot due to my dad’s job. By sixth grade, I had been to six different schools. Since then, I have gone to Wylie, and I’m grateful that I got to stay here and graduate here.

Gratitude Check

I would like to thank my parents for always pushing me to do my best and being proud of me no matter what.
