Quentin Whitted is an 8th grader in Mrs. Kelly Trumble’s class. All 8th grade students were assigned to write a letter to a business or organization of their choice last fall In their English class. Some businesses responded with a letter; others responded with products included with a return letter. The lesson is to teach students that their voices can be heard while using a formal tone of writing. Quentin wrote to the Carolina Panthers and told them he and his family are long-time fans. He was quite excited to see the response! Who wouldn’t want an autographed photo of Cam Newton!
